According to their sources, thousands of everyday people's explicit Snapchats have been saved illegally and are about to be released.
Hackers have warned that more than 200,000 nude images sent via the mobile-messaging service are to be uploaded to a searchable online database.

The latest scandal comes just weeks after hundreds of celebrity nudes were leaked following a supposed hack of Apple's iCloud service, known online as "The Fappening".
In recent days messaging boards on the notorious website 4chan have been filling up with news of the imminent Snapchat leak, which is already being referred to as "The Snappening".
Celebrities including Jennifer Lawrence, Rihanna and Kelly Brook have already had their private photos uploaded online, but their snaps are about to be joined by thousands of others.

According to reports, 4chan users have proved that "The Snappening" isn't a hoax by posting blurred images of the hacked photos on the site.
